EVERY SIP OF GRAVITY IS GREENING AUSTRALIA.

We are outdoor lovers. We believe we should protect the areas we most love to play in for future generations. Which is why we've partnered with Airseed Technologies

In 2023 we will be planting 8,500 Pods (Equivalent to over 200,000 Square Metres of land being restored) in the following regions:

BREDBO, SNOWY MOUNTAINS, NSW
NIMMITABEL, SNOWY MOUNTAINS, NSW
CATTAI WETLANDS, PORT MACQUARIE, NSW

EXPLORE OUR 2023 PROJECTS

NIMMITABEL NSW

Combatting long-term degradation and establishing important habitat refuge.

Passed down several generations, this farm is currently in the hands of a young family who are passionate about restoring the local landscape. The Nimmitable project represents an important habitat refuge in this agricultural landscape, as this site and the surrounding areas have experienced long-term degradation.

AirSeed will be returning eucalyptus and wattle trees to the area, kick-starting soil and vegetation recovery and providing a refuge for local animals that have experienced widespread habitat loss. One of the species being planted here, manna gum (Eucalyptis viminalis), is a native tree experiencing widespread dieback, which we hope to assist in reversing.

CATTAI WETLANDS NSW

Establishing trees for koala food and habitat.

This project aims to establish koala habitat and food trees (swamp mahogany Eucalyptus robusta) within the Cattai wetlands after bushfire and flooding events caused widespread damage in 2019-2020.

Previously farmland, the 500ha Cattai wetland area has been an ongoing restoration project for almost 20 years. Remediation of acid sulphate soils to protect surrounding waterways is a major focus of the restoration project.

By adding koala food trees to the area, the Cattai Wetlands will serve as a corridor between Coopernook State Forest and Crowdy Bay National Park.

BREDBO NSW

Creating an important habitat refuge in an otherwise treeless landscape.

This site is owned by a young family who are passionate about restoring their land to something that will live on for generations. Together, we’re creating a project that will represent an important habitat refuge in an otherwise treeless landscape.

The Bredbo project is also playing a big part in testing out erosion control techniques, which, if successful, will enable us to implement these methods across the region.
